World Science Day was established by UNESCO in the year 2001, it was first celebrated in the year 2002. On this day, events are organized by many institutes across the world.
World Science Day for Peace and Development is celebrated to raise awareness about the contribution of science in peace and development works. On this day, programs related to various scientific activities are organized in all the science institutes, such as National and other science laboratories, science academies, schools and colleges and training institutes.
