The Khadi and Village Industries Commission has launched a 'terracotta grinder' at Sevapuri in Varanasi.
On the occasion, KVIC also distributed 200 electric Potter Wheels and other pottery machines among the villagers.

Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) that has launched a pioneering method to recycle pieces of pottery and terracotta items.
The machine will be able to grind waste and broken utensils and use them again in pottery.
This terracotta grinder will grind waste pottery faster than conventional mortar and musli.
This will reduce the cost of production, and will also help solve the problem of soil scarcity.
